Our licensed physical and occupational therapists oversee exercise programs at Day Service Center Five, so you can continue improve physical functions.

Scaly Reed
Logo of Tanaka-ya Sangyo Co. Ltd. is a "scaly reed," one of "Seven Wonders of Enshu (Shizuoka Prefecture)." Our Head Quarter office is located next to Tenpaku Shrine, where you can read about the story of scaly reed.
Kamatogi Pond and the Seven Wonders
Hideyoshi Toyotomi spent his childhood in Hamamatsu City. He served Yukitsuna Matsushita, who was the lord of Zudaji Castle, between 1551 and 1553.
Hideyoshi (Tokichiro Kinoshita at that time) sharpened sickle for hay by this pond. He used reed to test the blade, but only shaved one side of its leaves. As a result, the reed in this area only have leaves on one side.
Hideyoshi also practiced Shuriken (ninja stars) by this pond, and one of the shuriken damaged an eye of Killifish. Since then killifish in this pond have only one eye.
Tempaku shrine has serving as a guardien of Yoshitsuna since 1533. Yoshitsuna influenced Hideyoshi to pursue his ambition of becoming the top of all samurai lords.
