Terawaki Rehabilitation Day Service Five
Licensed physical and occupational therapists at Terawaki Five Rehabilitation Day Service monitor health conditions while providing rehabilitation exercises. The goal of the program is to maintain and improve physical function.
All rehabilitation exercise programs are designed for individual conditions.
"Activity" and "Participation" to promote independence
Function Training
Licensed therapists assess individual physical function to design function training programs to maintain and improve physical function. Programs include muscle strengthening using the newest machine, cognitive training, and red cord exercise.
Daily Tasks
Daily task activities, such as baking, gardening and crafts, are available to promote ADLs and to support participating in community activity.
Participation
We believe in meaningful participation in the community. We support individuals to gain rolls in their community through various activity programs.
Meal time and free activity time are great for socialization. Participants can enjoy board games with other participants and friends.
Spacious Activity Room
In December 2016, the second floor opened and activity spaces for exercise and other activities are expanded.
3 bathing units are added, and now there are 6 units. An elevator is available between the floors.

What we do
Our programs focus on rehabilitation exercises to maintain and improve physical function. Our licensed clinical staffs are available on site to ensure your safety. You can socialize with other participants during the meal time and activity/exercise programs.
